TRUE LUXURY ISN'T ABOUT THE LABEL ANYMORE- IT'S ABOUT THE PRECISION CRAFTMANSHIP, THE QUALITY MATERIALS & MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE FAIR LABOUR PRACTICES, WHICH RESULT IN GARMENTS CRAFTED WITH UTMOST CARE. IT CAN'T BE LUXURY FASHION IF THE TRUE COST IS PAID BY THE WORKERS.

ETHICAL PRODUCTION

Committed to producing locally, from fabric to finished garment, this is a top priority for Flair Empire. Every Flair Empire piece is currently designed, cut and sewn by the designer, Clarisse, in Ottawa, Canada. By using a made-to-order or pre-order approach, the risk of overstock or waste is drastically reduced.

LONG TERM

As Flair Empire evolves, eventually partnering with LOCAL production facilities will be a MUST. Being able to not only meet the people who will help me produce my clothing, but also ensure they are well-compensated, while being able to provide them with all the required details on how the garment is produced, will result in pieces made with care and maximize quality.

Local production also avoids carbon emissions of overseas shipping for samples and finished products, alongside the risk of underpaid work or poor working  conditions by easily being able to visit the facilities myself.

x Expand the product line to include shoes, accessories, and home and office products, offering an immersive package into the Flair Empire lifestyle. 

x Launch flagship locations across the globe to revolutionize the retail experience through an immersive environment. 

x Explore 3D  printing and its reusability- What if we could produce clothing or accessories by recycling man-made fibers from waste textile to convert them to 3d printing filaments that could be used to make new garments? 

x Managing the entire production of garments from fabric to finished garment by having a Flair Empire production facility that offers a workplace that is like a second-home, architecturally designed to make people feel good,  motivated, giving them  a sense of belonging and the opportunity to interact, socialize and care about their work. 

TRANSPARENCY DISCLAIMER

All Flair Empire items are currently made by the designer, Clarisse, in Ottawa, Canada, with the exception of stretch leathers and packaging being sourced from China.

After doing extensive research to find the right fabrics, I have learned that there is a limited number of facilities that produce stretch vegan leathers. As a result, I am currently collaborating directly with a manufacturing facility in China for stretch vegan leather fabrics. I continue my search for a local producer of stretch vegan leather.

Flair Empire packaging is also currently produced in China, though as the label evolves, I plan to source packaging locally.
